I have so much shit to do in such a limited time. My eyebrows are a mess, my hair needs to be done, and my nails look atrocious. Normally I wouldn’t so much give a shit, but I do have a date on Thursday night so I suppose I should care. I also need an outfit. Something that says “I’m not a whore, but I could be if you wanted me to.” HAHA. Good Lord, I am too much.

ANYHOW. You also saw the state of my bedroom, which needs to be clean. I’m living like Pigpen. This is not acceptable. I am 23 years old and a woman. It looks like a frat boy has taken over my room. And laundry. I need to do laundry desperately. Sighhhh - I just might be pulling a crazy all-nighter tonight to get it done. Boo.

Haha - I know what Christmas creep actually means, but I think I’ve been acting a little creepy with my insane love of the holiday. I walked to work today to the tunes of The Temptations’ Motown Christmas Album. I love Motown Christmas music. I never really grew up with Burl Ives or any of that other shit. We tended to keep it real in my house. Black Santas, black Christmas music. Natalie Cole’s album is another fave.

Something about this holiday makes me so happy. I didn’t really feel at home last Christmas in SF. It was too warm, too rainy, there was no cold, no snow. It felt… fake. So I’m determined to live it up this Christmas and go all out. NYC is sooo pretty during the holidays.
